a conceptual photography book about Stéphane Sednaoui, 2023
This project involved the creation of a conceptual book exploring editorial design principles. The publication was designed to function both as a physical object and as an interactive PDF. The chosen theme centered on the work of Stéphane Sednaoui, with particular emphasis on his distinctive use of color in photography. The visual narrative was divided into four chapters inspired by the CMYK color model, each reflecting a unique tone and mood. Rather than focusing on textual content, the project prioritized aesthetic presentation and experimental design techniques.
As a first-year university assignment, this project marked my introduction to Adobe InDesign. Through it, I developed skills in layout design, pagination, and the application of paragraph and character styles. It was a valuable learning experience and remains one of the projects I’m most proud of visually.
