conceptual fanzine, 2023

Created as part of a first-year university project, Mid July is a conceptual fanzine exploring floral themes through experimental editorial design. The project allowed me to experiment with creative pagination and conceptual double-page layouts, focusing on the tactile and visual qualities of print.
Inspired by the ethereal atmosphere of Lana Del Rey’s music, my goal was to capture the lightness and nostalgia of summer, blending music and poetry into a delicate, immersive visual experience. I drew particular inspiration from halftone printing techniques, collage, and the use of recycled paper textures, enhancing the handmade and dreamlike quality of the final piece.
